Testimonials

The Invisible Bully is an honest, poignant and well written autobiography. As a person with limited knowledge of the disease, what Christopher offers is a clear and concise first person perspective of living life day to day with this affliction. He opens the door to the realities of a man striving to live every day to its fullest. A man unwilling to be limited by the limitations that would or could otherwise be imposed upon him. A disease that has in no uncertain terms crippled so many others who have been dealt a similar hand. This book offers raw and unapologetic glimpse into the trials and tribulations of what he and so many others like him must face. I can only wait to see what he has in store for us next!

The Invisible Bully was very inspiring for me and my granddaughter. The book was given to her as a gift to read. After she read the book, I seen some changes in her attitude toward life itself. Her depression and anxiety has diminished considerably since reading this book. It has changed her way of dealing with Sickle Cell disease (pain) and her emotions. I thank the author for sharing such a gift to my granddaughter and others, that’s going through this horrible pain every day. It has evolved a change in my life as well. This book should be shared throughout one whom has Sickle Cell Disease, also our community. Thank you!

This book took me on an amazing journey of learning more about Sickle Cell and what is like for a person dealing with the daily ins and outs of it. I feel full of energy and am motivated to look for the silver lining in this crazy world we live in. This book allowed insight to the strength, wisdom, discipline, and faith that one needs to remain victorious overs disease or condition. Lots of little gems of wisdom and grace in the storyline, raw and real facts add to the transparency, and just the right amount of encouragement for anyone looking for their own silver lining. A MUST read!!

Invisible Bully is a “MUST READ.” Most of the world has never heard of or know about Sickle Cell Anemia and how one contracts it. I found out that many in the medical field in America have no clue about how the disease affects the people who carry it. I can’t describe their pain but I have watched the agonizing of a person with Sickle Cell Anemia in crisis. I watched my childhood friend suffer and succumb to this disease. She was only 15 years old. Her sister, who was my friend as well lived to be in her early 30’s before the disease took her away. Christopher has captured in his own words a challenge that all persons dealing with this disease have to endure. This book opened my eyes to the reality of the shear torture of the pain Sickle Cell Disease brings with it. Thanks to the author of Invisible Bully for sharing his past past and present experience with Sickle-Cell Anemia. I recommend that you give this book to someone you love who suffers from this disease. It will help them to know, they are not alone in this fight for life.
